Deleting your account
Koklo Nya is a product of logNsec LLC. This page explains how to delete your account and personal data, what is removed, and what we must keep by law.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app:
- Sign in at app.koklonya.com.
- Go to Settings → Security → Data & privacy.
- Choose Delete my account, then confirm with your email and password.
If you would like a copy of your data first, use Export your data on the same screen.
What is deleted
Your login and personal profile — your name, contact details, preferences, and sign-in credentials — are erased, and your login is permanently disabled. The deletion cannot be undone.
What we must keep, and why
Some records must be retained even after you delete your account, because Ghanaian law requires it. These are kept detached from you — anonymised so they can no longer identify you:
- Financial and tax records — a minimum of 6 years (Ghana Companies Act, 2019).
- Certain poultry-operational records — 8–12 years (Veterinary Services Directorate and EPA traceability requirements).
If you are an employee of a farm, your employment record stays with that farm under the same retention rules; deleting your login does not remove it.
If you own a farm
If you are the only owner of a farm, you will be asked to either transfer ownership to another member (on the Team page) or delete the farm first, so the farm and its records are not left without an owner. Once you are no longer a farm's only owner, you can delete your account.
